Ero Jasper's Artist Statement
Through my work I attempt to examine the phenomenon of Stitch experiment 626 as a methaphorical interpretation of both Norman Rockwell and hopping.
What began as a personal journey of dickism has translated into images of Chinese food and penis pumps that resonate with Caucasian people to question their own furryness.
My mixed media Rabbit embody an idiosyncratic view of Penn Gillette, yet the familiar imagery allows for a connection between Jim Henson, critters and salads.
My work is in the private collection of Bernie Kopell who said 'Faggot!, that's some real good feminine boy Art.'
I am a recipient of a grant from Folsom Prison where I served time for stealing mugs and tie clips from the gift shop of The Smithsonian. I have exhibited in group shows at Carl's Jr and deviantart, though not at the same time. I currently spend my time between my bedroom and Berlin.
A lot of this might not be true because I am very screwed up in the head. Just FYI. :3
